Your New Role
As Digital Marketing Lead, you’re an experienced and audience-obsessed leader focused on driving brand visibility and audience growth across non-search channels. You’re someone who isn’t just “on social”—you’re in it. You spot trends before they go viral, know what gets people talking, and are eager to build something big. Reporting into the Franchise Manager, you’ll manage a multidisciplinary marketing team focused on growing a loyal user base and increasing inbound traffic through engaging, platform-native content. You’ll be responsible for building scalable workflows to adapt editorial content across key social platforms, identifying and nurturing creator partnerships, and ensuring the brand remains culturally relevant and resonant. The role is a strategic leadership role requiring a sharp eye for creative talent, an instinct for what drives engagement, and a track record of growing digital brands across distributed channels.
What you’ll be working on
- Brand Growth & Awareness:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow brand visibility, social presence, and awareness in target markets—particularly outside traditional SEO-led channels.
- Channel Diversification: Own the growth of referral traffic from key non-Google sources such as social platforms, influencer channels, video, newsletters, and community initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of social media managers, video producers/editors, SEO Specialists, and community managers, providing clear direction, editorial vision, and performance targets.
- Process & Content Adaptation:
Build systems that ensure site content is efficiently and effectively repurposed for high-impact use across multiple platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other emerging platforms.
- Audience & Creator Strategy: Increase social media followings and engagement while identifying and working with brand ambassadors, creators, or influencers to create “sticky” content that drives loyalty and traffic.
- Cross-Functional Integration:
Collaborate closely with Editorial, Creative, and Commercial leads to ensure marketing efforts align with branding, creative vision, content priorities and monetization goals.
- Performance Tracking: Define KPIs across each marketing channel and produce regular performance reports to assess reach, engagement, conversions, and channel ROI.
- Other duties as assigned in support of the Media Team.
A little bit about you and your qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, digital growth, or audience development roles, ideally within media, entertainment, or affiliate environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- Proven ability to build and scale social-led growth strategies with measurable results in brand awareness, traffic, and engagement.
- Demonstrated leadership managing multidisciplinary creative and marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of digital content ecosystems, audience behavior on different platforms, and how to adapt messaging and content accordingly.
- Track record of recruiting and developing creative talent—including creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Deep platform fluency (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, Twitch).
- Experience working with paid social campaigns and organic content amplification strategies is preferred.
- Familiarity with community-building tactics and creator economy trends is preferred.
- Background in digital entertainment industry or other high-engagement media sectors is preferred.
- Ability to work with data tools and social analytics platforms to make performance-informed decisions is preferred.
