Your new role
The Content Strategist is responsible for defining and executing content strategies across a portfolio of client websites. Through research, analysis, and cross-team collaboration, this role ensures content initiatives align with commercial goals, drive traffic, and engage target audiences.
As a key member of resulta’s content team, the Content Strategist will oversee a talented group of Content Coordinators, Creators, Specialists, and Copywriters, ensuring high-quality, timely content production while continuously optimizing workflows and leveraging AI to improve efficiency. They will collaborate closely with SEO, Digital Marketing, Product, Design, Business Intelligence, and Conversion teams to translate strategy into actionable campaigns that deliver measurable results.
The ideal candidate is an analytical, creative, and strategic thinker with exceptional editorial judgment, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They are intellectually curious, proactive, and passionate about content’s role in achieving business objectives, with a focus on continuous learning in a rapidly evolving industry.
What you’ll be working on
Strategy
Develop and present the content strategy recommendations for the assigned portfolio to the Senior Content Marketing Manager for final approval, ensuring alignment with franchise and organizational objectives;
Disseminate content strategy into key components, initiatives, campaigns, and action items based on competitive research and analysis in assigned area of expertise;
Content Operations
Oversee and direct the content team working within their portfolio including: Content Coordinators, Content Creators, Content Specialists, and Copy Writers to ensure velocity and quality of work;
Manage the creation and production of creative content and sponsorship materials by creating, assigning, and evaluating progress on tickets and tasks for the content team members while ensuring proper work flow and quality;
Continuously optimize content operations and workflows by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, implement automation, and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and team productivity;
Lead the adoption and governance of AI tools across your portfolio’s content operations, leveraging automation and AI-assisted workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability while maintaining editorial standards;
Coach junior level members of your team to boost their skillsets and better understand how their role impacts the success of the business;
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Leverage and collaborate with multi-departmental resources and external vendors to guide and oversee execution of content production ensuring productions deadlines are met;
Work with Commercial and SEO team leads to ensure Content is in lock-step with the business objectives;
Data-Driven Decisions & Reporting
Continuously assess conversion efficacy, research, identify opportunities for improvement, provide recommendations to fill content gaps and develop strategies for improvements that will drive increased traffic to client website properties;
Utilize business intelligence tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to generate insights;
Partner with internal teams, agencies and vendors to help translate content data into actionable reports that lead to optimization;
A little bit about you and your qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in journalism or communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields;
3-5+ years of experience in managing content for brands of publishers;
Strong editorial judgment, writing skills and exceptional attention to detail;
Excellent business acumen with the ability to understand how content impacts the business’ goals;
Creative mindset, intellectually curious and interested in illuminating strategy in accessible, clever ways;
Excellent project management and organizational skills;
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of and experience in affiliate marketing;
